Mayfair Gold is progressing with plans to bring its Fenn-Gib Gold Project, located 21 kilometers west of Matheson, Ontario, into production by 2030. The project boasts an indicated gold resource of 4.3 million ounces, averaging 0.74 grams per tonne within 181.3 million tonnes of ore. In 2025, the company aims to complete preparatory work necessary for entering the provincial approvals and permitting process, including a prefeasibility study expected by year’s end. The envisioned open-pit mine would process 4,800 tonnes of ore daily, initiating operations with a high-grade starter pit to generate early revenue and reduce initial capital costs. To strengthen its team, Mayfair has appointed Drew Anwyll as Chief Operating Officer, leveraging his experience from the Detour gold pit development. Ongoing metallurgical testing will inform the processing design, while environmental baseline data collection, underway since 2022, supports the permitting process. Mayfair is committed to engaging with Indigenous communities to discuss mine design, economic benefits, and strategies to mitigate environmental and social impacts
