PTX Metals Inc. has announced results from its second-phase drilling at the Heenan-Mallard Gold Property in Ontario’s Swayze Greenstone Belt, approximately 45 km northwest of IAMGOLD’s Côté Gold Mine. The program, comprising five diamond drill holes totaling 693.35 meters, aimed to test the continuity of mineralization along strike and at depth. All holes intersected near-surface gold mineralization, with a notable highlight of 75.75 meters at 0.50 g/t Au, including 5.00 meters at 3.93 g/t Au in hole HE24-06. These results confirm the expansion of a newly discovered gold system, suggesting potential for near-surface mineralized tonnage. The mineralization is hosted within iron formations containing a high density of felsic dikes, with gold associated with pyrite and minor quartz veining. The system remains open along strike and at depth, indicating further exploration potential. Additionally, PTX has submitted exploration permits for its Shining Tree Property, planning a drill program to test the high-grade Ribble Vein at Ronda, where previous channel sampling returned 16.14 meters at 9.04 g/t Au.
