STLLR Gold has released final assay results from its 2025 characterization program at the Hollinger Tailings Project near Timmins. These results confirm consistent gold grades across most drill intervals, with particularly higher values observed in the northern sector’s southern edge near the historic tailings dam wall. This continuity reinforces Holmes’s economic viability and supports the next steps toward a mineral resource estimate.
The company has begun metallurgical testing and mineral resource modeling, with results expected later in the year. Though most of the Hollinger site has been assessed—over 11,200 meters drilled in 423 sonic holes on a 50-meter grid—further characterization is planned for areas such as the ponds and eastern parts of Phase 1.
Located in southeast Timmins, the site contains an estimated 50–60 million tonnes of tailings from the historic mine that produced 19 million ounces of gold. New provisions under Ontario’s Mining Act have streamlined permitting for tailings reprocessing, aligning economic opportunity with environmental cleanup. STLLR’s program supports permit applications and remediation planning, while aiming for near-term recovery potential based on the consistent gold profile revealed by the drilling campaign.
