Kirkland Lake Discoveries Corp. Hits High-Grade Cu-Eq & New Gold Zone

Oct 27, 2025

Kirkland Lake Discoveries Corp. (KLDC) has announced standout results from its drilling campaign at the KL West property in Ontario’s Abitibi region. The company intersected 31.38 m at 1.22 % CuEq, 36.5 m at 1.03 % CuEq, and 27.35 m at 1.27 % CuEq from surface in key drill holes, signalling an emerging copper-rich system. In tandem, KLDC disclosed a new gold discovery located 2 km northeast of the historic Winnie Shaft, suggesting the mineralizing system may be more extensive and diverse than originally interpreted.

The results support KLDC’s evolving geological model that targets intrusion-related mineralization tied to the Winnie Pluton. The presence of substantial copper-equivalent intersections alongside a fresh gold occurrence points to a polymetallic system with multiple commodity pathways. KLDC now plans follow-up drilling and detailed geophysical modelling to test strike and depth extensions. With its large land package and track record of early-stage discovery, KLDC appears to be unlocking a compelling exploration opportunity in one of Ontario’s most productive mining districts.
