Volta Metals Ltd. has reported an outstanding drill result at its Springer Rare Earth Element Project in Ontario, setting a new benchmark for rare earth intercepts. The latest borehole, SL25-24, returned 438.9 metres at 0.95% Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO), including an incredible 358.6 metres at 1.06% TREO, in a hole that ended in mineralization at 465 metres. The interval features premium light and heavy rare earths like neodymium, praseodymium, terbium, and dysprosium, placing Springer among the strongest on-shore rare earth systems globally.
This result surpasses the previously reported historic resource grades for the project and underlines the depth and continuity of the mineralized carbonatite-hosted system. Management views the scale and grade as validation of the project’s potential to expand significantly beyond its historic footprint. With further assays pending and modelling underway, Volta plans a resource estimate update for early 2026. The breakthrough positions the Springer Project as a key element in North America’s pursuit of secure critical mineral supply chains.
