Volta Begins Resource Expansion Drilling at Springer

Jan 21, 2026

Volta Metals Ltd. has initiated a definition drilling and resource expansion program at its Springer Rare Earth Element (REE) Project, targeting both infill and extension of known mineralized zones. The fully funded program will build on past successes, including significant intersections of rare earth oxides that have defined a continuous system starting at surface and remaining open at depth and laterally.

The campaign’s objectives are twofold: to upgrade inferred mineral resources into higher confidence categories and to expand the geological footprint of the deposit. Drilling will test extensions along strike and at depth, helping refine the geological model and support an updated mineral resource estimate planned for release once all assays are received and interpreted.

Volta Metals Ltd. is using modern techniques and a disciplined targeting approach to accelerate progress at Springer, which has already delivered some of the most promising rare earth drill results in Canada. Work is underway with local contractors, and core is being logged and sampled on a systematic basis. Positive results from this program could further strengthen the project’s positioning within North America’s supply chain for critical minerals used in electric motors, renewable energy systems and high-tech applications.
