Heritage Mining Ltd confirmed multiple high-grade gold intercepts and identified new gold zones from its ongoing 2025/26 diamond drilling program at the Melba Mine Project in Northeastern Ontario, near Kirkland Lake and southeast of Timmins. The Melba project comprises approximately 3,886 hectares along the Ross Fault, a structural feature linked to historic gold producers including Grey Fox and Ross mines. Recent results include an intersection of 42.57 grams per tonne gold over 1 metre from 72 metres down hole in drill hole ML3900-002, which ended in mineralization. Another hole, ML3850-003, intersected 9 grams per tonne gold over 1 metre before ending in underground workings; historical results nearby include 13.31 grams per tonne gold over 0.91 metres in the 204 E Zone. The company noted ongoing diamond drilling and multiple assays pending for additional holes, indicating further potential. Heritage said several new and existing gold zones occur near surface, with historical data suggesting grades increase at depth. The firm emphasized rigorous quality controls and that assay results have passed internal checks. It also noted it has not completed any economic evaluations of Melba and there are currently no defined resources or reserves. Work continues with expectations of more results in the near term.
