Solstice Gold Corp. has begun its winter 2026 diamond drill program at the Strathy Gold Project in the Temagami Greenstone Belt of northeastern Ontario. Drill crews have mobilized and drilling has started, with the program planned to total about 2,750 metres across approximately 12 to 15 holes. The primary objective is to expand the Red Cedar gold discovery made during the company’s 2025 inaugural drilling at Strathy. That discovery returned 8.52 grams per tonne gold over 3.5 metres, including 28.7 grams per tonne over 1 metre, within a large induced polarization anomaly measuring at least 600 by 1,000 metres. The 2026 program will test the extent of this anomaly and associated chargeability trends interpreted from detailed induced polarization surveys completed in 2024 and 2025. Targeting also incorporates historic gold mineralization from the nearby Leckie Gold Zone, where past drilling intersected grades including 5.00 grams per tonne over 17.28 metres and 7.66 grams per tonne over 7.25 metres. The Red Cedar anomaly remains open to the east and may extend onto newly acquired claims, supporting expansion potential. The Strathy Gold Project covers roughly 46 square kilometres along the Trans-Canada Highway within the southern Abitibi Subprovince and hosts widespread high-grade gold occurrences
