Canuc Resources Corporation has initiated a property-wide airborne gravity gradiometric and magnetic survey over its 100 percent-owned East Sudbury Project, located about 20 kilometres east of Sudbury, Ontario. The survey is being conducted by Bell Geospace Ltd. using Full Tensor Gradiometer technology to measure density contrasts and map subsurface geological structures beneath overburden. Data will cover the entire roughly 200 square-kilometre property and is intended to refine interpretation of the McLaren Lake Fault Zone and associated parallel structures. The program is designed to identify geophysical anomalies linked to iron-rich mineralization associated with known gold and copper occurrences across the project area, including historical Scadding mine workings. Canuc stated that the survey aims to generate drill targets related to potential large-scale iron oxide copper-gold and metasomatic iron alkali-calcic deposit sources. In parallel, Natural Resources Canada is scheduled to complete a seismic survey over the same claim group to image structural controls and alteration zones within the mineral system. Results from the gravity and seismic programs, combined with historical drilling and geological data, will be integrated and analyzed to prioritize targets for planned follow-up drilling prospectively scheduled for early summer exploration at the East Sudbury Project
