Brixton Metals Corporation has reported an ultra-high-grade silver discovery in the Shaft 6 Southeast area of its wholly owned Langis Silver Project in Cobalt, Ontario. Hole LM-26-377 returned 5,015.16 grams per tonne silver over 20.00 metres from 165.00 metres depth, including 7,150.40 grams per tonne over 14.00 metres, 74,136.74 grams per tonne over 1.15 metres, and 89,125.00 grams per tonne over 0.65 metres.
The hole is about 140 metres east of previously reported hole LM-26-290, which returned 4,560 grams per tonne silver over 11.35 metres. The Shaft 6 Southeast area has no known historic underground workings or stopes and has never been mined. Silver mineralization there has now been traced for at least 100 metres along strike and remains open along strike, down-plunge, and laterally.
Other results from the area include 287.80 grams per tonne silver over 13.00 metres in hole LM-26-353, including 1,633.93 grams per tonne over 2.15 metres and 4,320.00 grams per tonne over 0.55 metres. Hole LM-26-352 returned 274.95 grams per tonne over 7.00 metres.
Brixton Metals Corporation is continuing step-out drilling in the Shaft 6 South and Shaft 6 Southeast zones while testing a possible link between them.
