Fokus Expands Footprint Along Cadillac–Larder Fault

Nov 28, 2025

Fokus Mining Corporation has significantly enlarged its landholding with the acquisition of the Dufay Property — increasing its total package along the Cadillac–Larder Lake Fault to nearly 16,000 hectares. The added ground includes underexplored claims directly between the Galloway Project and the Ontario border, enhancing the company’s leverage on a historically prolific gold corridor.

The Dufay Property (about 6,083 hectares) brings additional drill-ready opportunities, particularly targeting chalcopyrite-rich quartz vein systems and green carbonate mineralization that sit just south of the main fault zone.  Alongside Dufay, Fokus also acquired several border-adjacent claims (the “Deep Property”), further expanding its strategic reach.

Philippe MacKay, President and CEO of Fokus Mining, said, “This land consolidation represents a defining moment for Fokus. We now control one of the largest land packages between Rouyn-Noranda and the Ontario border… along a structure that has produced over 100 million ounces of gold historically.”

With its expanded footprint, Fokus plans to advance detailed geological mapping, re-evaluate historical data, and pursue new exploration drilling — aiming to unlock value across a region surrounded by prominent gold systems.
