Kirkland Lake Discoveries Corp. Widens Mirado

Kirkland Lake Discoveries Corp. has reported results from four drill holes at the Mirado gold system, part of its KL South property approximately 18 kilometres south of Kirkland Lake, Ontario. Drilling extended the South Zone westward while pushing the North Zone deeper.

South Zone hole KLM26-029 returned 2.13 grams per tonne gold over 29.0 metres from 173 metres, including 3.37 grams per tonne over 17.5 metres. The main interval has an estimated true width of approximately 23 metres.

Hole KLM26-031 returned 2.11 grams per tonne gold over 14.1 metres from 157 metres, including 2.74 grams per tonne over 10.1 metres and 12.71 grams per tonne over 1.1 metres. Its main interval has an estimated true width of approximately 11 metres.

North Zone hole KLM26-027 returned 4.76 grams per tonne gold over 6.65 metres beginning eight metres downhole. Hole KLM26-028 intersected both zones, including 0.21 grams per tonne gold over 20.0 metres in the South Zone and 3.89 grams per tonne over 2.14 metres in the North Zone. The deeper intersection extends the North Zone to approximately 365 metres vertical depth.

Assays remain pending for 19 holes, comprising nine at Mirado, six at the MZ target area and four regional targets.
