Makenita Resources completed its maiden three-hole drill program at the Hector Silver Project in Ontario’s Larder Lake mining division. All holes intersected visible sulphide mineralization ranging from 2 to 84 meters in core length. Mineral zones included pyrite, chalcopyrite, malachite, and quartz veins within volcanic host rocks and Nipissing diabase intrusions. These findings come from geophysical reinterpretation targeting the historic Teck Block 9 silver zone, previously known for high-grade silver intervals like 326 g/t and wider zones averaging 6 g/t over tens of meters. A total of 268 samples have been submitted for assays, with results expected in 4–8 weeks. President Jason Gigliotti highlighted the program’s strong start and noted that silver at 13-year highs could amplify positive results, emphasizing the project’s potential to deliver significant value for shareholders. The Hector property spans 2,243 hectares across 126 mineral claims. Qualified geoscientists have reviewed and approved the technical content. Makenita cautions that nearby past results may not reflect mineralization on its own property.
