This new section is where the President speaks plainly about issues that affect prospectors across Ontario. It is built from real conversations, time spent in the field, and decisions that shape how exploration work happens every day. Each month, a single question will be put forward to invite open input from across the province.
The goal is simple. We want to hear what prospectors are seeing, what is working, what is not, and where concerns are building. Your responses will be collected, reviewed, and used to reflect the shared views of the exploration community. This is an open invitation to take part, whether you work full time in exploration or stake and explore independently.

How are Ontario prospectors feeling about the map-staking system overall, looking back to its introduction in 2018 and how it has shaped day-to-day exploration work across the province?
In particular, we are asking for views on the reported rise of algorithm-driven or automated staking activity. How has this affected fairness, competition, and the ability for individual prospectors to secure claims in a reasonable and practical way?
Looking ahead, what changes or recommendations would you like the Ontario government to consider to address these concerns and help restore a level field for everyone involved in claim staking?
