PTX Kicks Off Major Work at Shining Tree

Oct 23, 2025

PTX Metals Inc. has launched a detailed pre-drilling work program at its Shining Tree Gold Project, located in South Timmins, Ontario, within the Ridout-Tyrrell Deformation Zone (RTDZ). The initiative includes a structural review by SRK Consulting and an approximately 8,000-hectare airborne magnetic survey flown at 35-metre spacing, with 3-D inversion modelling to help refine targets and guide an upcoming drill campaign. Historical surface work at the property’s core Ronda target highlighted notable results—such as 60.30 g/t gold over 0.5 m within 9.04 g/t gold over 16.15 m—reinforcing the potential for high-grade zones.

The combined land package of the Shining Tree and Heenan-Mallard projects encompasses around 300 km² in a region with excellent infrastructure and mines nearby. PTX will use the structural analysis and geophysical data, alongside its geochemistry database, to better define the geometry of the target system before mobilizing drill rigs. The work program marks an important step toward drilling deeper and higher-value zones in one of Ontario’s well-regarded gold districts.
