Solstice Gold Corp. has announced the commencement of a fully funded and permitted 3,500-meter diamond drilling program at its Strathy Gold Project, located in the Temagami Greenstone Belt within Ontario’s Abitibi Subprovince. The campaign, set to begin in April 2025, will consist of 15 to 18 drill holes averaging 200 meters in depth, targeting five high-priority areas identified through extensive technical work and recent Induced Polarization (IP) geophysical surveys. These targets include the northern and southern extensions of the Leckie Fault, which hosts the historic Leckie Gold Zone, as well as potential intrusive-related anomalies and newly interpreted parallel faults. CEO Pablo McDonald emphasized the project’s significance, noting the rare opportunity to explore a property in the prolific Abitibi region that hosts documented high-grade gold yet remains largely untested over several square kilometers. The drill program aims to validate interpretations of a larger, coherent mineralizing system at Strathy and represents a pivotal moment for Solstice shareholders, offering a strong chance of discovery.
