New Age Metals Starts River Valley Exploration

Feb 4, 2026

New Age Metals Inc. has begun its 2026 exploration program at its 100 percent-owned River Valley Project, located about 100 kilometres east of Sudbury, Ontario. The program’s first phase centres on a DasVision 3D induced polarization geophysical survey over the Mustang Zone, which lies southeast along strike from the main River Valley mineralized trend. The survey is being executed by Abitibi Geophysics based in Val-d’Or, Quebec, with the aim of generating high-priority drill targets and potential expansion and upgrading of mineral resources in the Mustang Zone. A three-year exploration permit covering geophysical surveys and drilling is in place for the River Valley Project. New Age Metals said the survey will help identify targets for drilling later in the year. The Mustang Zone, part of the River Valley Palladium Project, has seen limited systematic exploration since 2002. The company also noted that platinum and copper prices are at strong levels, with palladium and rhodium rebounding, supporting the strategic focus on platinum group and associated metals. New Age Metals indicated it is advancing a joint venture strategy for the Mustang Zone and continues engagement with Nipissing First Nation under the existing Memorandum of Understanding. The work advances its broader platinum group metals portfolio alongside development of its core River Valley resource.
